social responsability

At El Injerto we know that the human resource is extremely important and that if our personnel have an improved physical and mental health, they work better and obtain better income for their families. That is why we worry about the well-being of each one of our employees and their families. We provide them with induction in cultural tasks, protection equipment, industrial safety shops, machinery use courses, computer courses, personal hygiene and home hygiene shops, etc. We also program medical and dental journeys, and medicines and drugs are donated to alleviate common diseases.

We have an agreement with the School of the Village La Barranca whereby the farm supports and gives grants to the school, such as desks, books, notebooks, and children’s games, TV sets, an electric power plant, donations in cash, etc., to make sure that our children have a better chance for the future.

We are also concerned about the health, nourishment and nutrition of our personnel, and therefore the farm invested in a tortilla-making machine (produces 3000/hour), so each worker receives tortillas, salt, and hot peppers every workday. Likewise, medical and dental journeys are programmed, and drugs are given away for common diseases.

El Injerto has more than 18 Kms. of internal roads to make tasks more efficient, helping workers with the transportation of cargo and personnel. The farm also has adequate housing for both permanent and temporary workers, providing them with all basic services such as electric power, bathrooms, potable water, clothes’ washing sinks, eating rooms, etc.
